The Diemer automatic shearing machine type ASC-F shortens all types of residual wood in the veneer and plywood mill with low-noise cutting and a high volume output. Log slices, residual rolls and peelers as well as hems of veneer and plywood boards are economically shredded to firewood and charcoal or short timber for further shredding.

Technical discription
The ASC-F automatic residual wood shearing machine is fed by automatic or manual insertion of the cut material via the feed chute. The horizontal arrangement of the feeding chute makes it possible to integrate the type ASC-F into any kind of mechanization that continuously feeds the cut material and discharges the shredded material. The length of the feed chute can be individually adapted to the requirements of the respective overall plant.
The shortening system with shear and counter knife is switched in cycle with the feed and is electro-hydraulically controlled and driven. The cutting length is determined and adjusted by the duration of the feed cycle. Depending on the operating conditions, the service life of the special shearing blades is between 4 and 8 months.

When processing logs, i.e. with standing fibres, 1 to 3 additional transverse splitting knives can be used. This allows the sections to be divided into a maximum of 4 pieces. Cross-splitting knives cannot be used with lying fibre. All movement processes are reliably controlled by electro-hydraulic valves and contactor control.

can be carried out by the company's specialist personnel. Like all Diemer machines, the ASC-F is easy to operate and easy to maintain.
